Dia-beatable: Diabetes is Treatable

Bismarck, ND, March 12, 2010 -- GoodHealthTV® introduces a new campaign entitled “Dia-beatable” in recognition of American Diabetes Alert Day, March 23. GoodHealthTV® viewers will enjoy the humorous music video, while web surfers can check out the video, downloadable wallpaper, behind the scenes features and links and tips on living a healthy lifestyle with diabetes.

The Dia-beatable campaign video features a catchy rap tune with a colorful character called MC Potato-Chip. He takes the viewer through his trials with unhealthy eating and exercise habits. Eventually, he is diagnosed with diabetes. Says MC’s doctor “Part of its genetic, but look at yourself - Don't you know a bad diet equals bad health? But don't lose hope, this can be beatable. Diabetes is treatable!”

Also featured in the campaign is singer/song writer Taylor Falcon, who plays the part of the nurse. She is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa from Belcourt, N.D. Falcon has been featured at the North Dakota State Fair and has numerous musical accomplishments throughout the U.S.

The music video, a downloadable wallpaper, special features, and tips on living a healthy lifestyle, can all be found online at goodhealthtv.com/diabeatable.
