2007 Champions

The STI rates in the Aberdeen Area are the highest in the Indian Health Service, with adolescents at particular risk. In the Pine Ridge area, approximately 80% of gonorrhea and Chlamydia infections are in the 14-24 year age group. Bringing an HIV screening and risk assessment opportunity to this well-attended public event offered an opportunity to reach the age groups that are most in need of screening and education.
